An HTC Universal (which is what I have) is also very nerdy, with the only problem that it isn't widescreen. I'm not sure how iPhone has got so much hype, considering its competition. Perhaps someone who likes the iPhone can tell me why it's better than the E90 or the Universal? However, I've got to admit I have the same problem: if I were to make use of phone applications, I'd want to be able to develop my own as well.
